22nd October 2011
Windsurfing: Felixstowe dip
Wind Direction: SE
Wind Stength: F5
Surf / Sea State: waves
Air Temperature: warmish
Sea Temperature: warmish
Weather: good
Max Speed: 22.5 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 12 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Got to dip 12.30 a few out on 7.0/7.5 and tide going out, sea was roughish. rig 7.5 but never used as the wind was up. Rigged 6.7, which was a little under powered, but with the rough seas it was perfect, used the 140 and 125, but preferred the 140 Slalom bd with the small fin. The short length of the board, allow easy manouvres between waves.
The waves at the rivermouth end was the best of the year for me as they were well spaced and clean. Sailing back in was the perfect line up the face and down again. It was not so good at the launch area, which was just rough.
Nice sail, as the 6.7 sail was spot on, and I could just hold it when the gusts came.
The low tide cleaned up the sea great, but the wind dropped again, so packed up about 4.0
